Ice Storm - Opening at 10am, short day *Closing at 1pm

Hi there! Due to extra icy potential today, we'll be open at 10am and closing if/when the weather changes = 1pm, as the other shops around us have all started closing early and public transit is slow, using chains and stopping routes.

Can't wait for the 'normalcy' of good ol' 40's and rain to return. Stay safe!!

OPEN 11-4 Thursday 1/12

Hi there!  We have a small team that made it in this morning, knowing that some of you may have pet food and hen, goat, guinea pig and rabbit feed needs.  Or neighbors seeking coffee, chocolate, tea and treats...πŸ˜‹. We're open 11 - 4 to make sure everyone gets home okay.  Our parking lot has been plowed!(at 2pm) we had over a foot of snow and you can still ski, sled or snow shoe in, but our lot is also a lot more driveable now.  Powell Blvd traffic and the #9 buses are running smoothly.

Please drive and walk with care.

We were closed Wednesday, all of us were snowed in 8 to 12" and hope you had a blast!  Oona and Binga spent the whole day riding little goat sleds up and down the hill by our house and drinking alfalfa hot "cocoa".  (Okay, maybe it was more like a little hike and a lot of snuggling...)  See you soon! πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™

Ice Storm & Moon River Farm (Closed Sunday 1/8/17)

Due to the predicted ice storm, we're keeping the shop closed today.  Please be safe and cozy if you can.  We've never looked forward to a forecast of multiple 40 degree, rainy days, like we do this winter, can't wait for tomorrow!  ;)

On a bright note, this sweet, fiercely talented farming couple just started their own farm!

friends, family, community members! @kalethefarmer and @dandelionlil are very excited to announce the launch of our new business, Moon River Farm. We've spent the last four and a half years studying the craft of small-scale, ecological farming and we are finally ready to venture out on our own. We are looking forward to carrying on the awesome work of @revolutiongardens, the place where we met and grew our farmer roots under the mentorship of @revolutionginger We will offer a community supported agriculture subscription, and a traditional farmers market booth on the #northoregoncoast. Look out for us on #instagramand #facebook and a website coming soon! #eattherainbow #gratitude #dreamcometrue#moonriverfarm
